Saturn's moon system spans from tiny shepherd moons embedded in the rings to cloud-shrouded Titan, the only moon with a substantial atmosphere and liquid methane lakes on its surface. Mimas, Enceladus, Tethys, Dione, Rhea, Hyperion, Iapetus, and distant captured Phoebe each tell a different story of tidal heating, orbital resonance, and surface evolution. Enceladus vents water vapour from its south pole, hinting at a subsurface ocean. Co-orbital pairs Epimetheus and Janus swap orbits every four years. Saturn's ring system is modelled here as thousands of gravitationally interacting icy particles spanning the main rings from the D ring to the F ring.
