TOI-1136 is a young compact six-planet system whose planets are still inflated by the heat of formation. The system hosts 6 confirmed planets on orbits ranging from 4.2 days to 18.8 days. With 6 confirmed worlds, TOI-1136 is a densely packed system whose resonances, spacing, and formation history are active research topics. Mutual gravitational tugs between the planets can slowly reshape their orbits, preserving clues to the system's assembly. TOI-1136 b orbits well inside Earth's distance from the Sun. With an equilibrium temperature around 1,216 K, the dayside atmosphere is hot enough to vaporise many common minerals.
