TOI-700 is a cool M-dwarf (about 0.41 solar masses, 3,459 K, 0.42 solar radii), 31.1 light-years from Earth. TOI-700 d was TESS's first Earth-sized planet in a habitable zone, orbiting a quiet nearby red dwarf. TOI-700 b is a planet with 0.9 Earth radii, with an orbital period of 10.0 days, at 0.068 AU from its star, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.07), discovered in 2020 via transit. TOI-700 c is a planet with 2.6 Earth radii, with an orbital period of 16.1 days, at 0.093 AU from its star, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.07), discovered in 2020 via transit.
