HD 3167 is a Sun-like G-type star (about 0.86 solar masses, 5,338 K, 0.87 solar radii), 47.3 light-years from Earth. HD 3167 is a multi-planet system with perpendicular orbits: the inner planet is tilted about 90 degrees from the outer ones. HD 3167 b is a 4.8-Earth-mass planet, with an orbital period of 23.0 hours, at 0.018 AU from its star, and an equilibrium temperature near 1,781 K, discovered in 2016 via transit. HD 3167 d is a 7.3-Earth-mass planet, with an orbital period of 8.4 days, at 0.077 AU from its star, and an equilibrium temperature near 865 K, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.35), discovered in 2017 via radial velocity.
