YZ Cet is a cool M-dwarf (about 0.14 solar masses, 3,151 K, 0.16 solar radii), 3.7 light-years from Earth. YZ Cet b is a 0.7-Earth-mass planet, with an orbital period of 2.0 days, at 0.016 AU from its star, and an equilibrium temperature near 471 K, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.06), discovered in 2017 via radial velocity. YZ Cet c is a 1.1-Earth-mass planet, with an orbital period of 3.1 days, at 0.022 AU from its star, and an equilibrium temperature near 410 K, discovered in 2017 via radial velocity.
