WASP-132 is an orange K-type dwarf (about 0.79 solar masses, 4,686 K, 0.76 solar radii), 123 light-years from Earth. WASP-132 c is a 6.3-Earth-mass planet, with an orbital period of 1.0 days, at 0.018 AU from its star, and an equilibrium temperature near 1,329 K, discovered in 2022 via transit. WASP-132 b is a 0.43-Jupiter-mass companion, with an orbital period of 7.1 days, at 0.067 AU from its star, and an equilibrium temperature near 682 K, discovered in 2016 via transit. Mutual gravitational tugs between the planets can slowly reshape their orbits, preserving clues to the system's assembly.
