TOI-1260 is an orange K-type dwarf (about 0.68 solar masses, 4,227 K, 0.67 solar radii), 73.6 light-years from Earth. TOI-1260 b is a 8.6-Earth-mass planet, with an orbital period of 3.1 days, at 0.037 AU from its star, and an equilibrium temperature near 871 K, discovered in 2021 via transit. TOI-1260 c is a 13.2-Earth-mass planet, with an orbital period of 7.5 days, at 0.066 AU from its star, and an equilibrium temperature near 651 K, discovered in 2021 via transit. Mutual gravitational tugs between the planets can slowly reshape their orbits, preserving clues to the system's assembly.
