Teegarden's Star is a cool M-dwarf (about 0.10 solar masses, 3,034 K, 0.12 solar radii), 3.8 light-years from Earth. Teegarden's Star hosts two Earth-mass planets in the habitable zone and is one of the nearest known planetary systems. Teegarden's Star b is a 1.2-Earth-mass planet, with an orbital period of 4.9 days, at 0.026 AU from its star, and an equilibrium temperature near 277 K, discovered in 2019 via radial velocity. Teegarden's Star c is a 1.1-Earth-mass planet, with an orbital period of 11.4 days, at 0.045 AU from its star, and an equilibrium temperature near 209 K, discovered in 2019 via radial velocity.
