Kepler-53 d is a planet with 2.1 Earth radii, with an orbital period of 9.8 days, at 0.091 AU from its star, discovered in 2014 via transit. Kepler-53 b is a 0.35-Jupiter-mass companion, with an orbital period of 18.6 days, discovered in 2012 via transit. Kepler-53 c is a 0.11-Jupiter-mass companion, with an orbital period of 38.6 days, discovered in 2012 via transit. Mutual gravitational tugs between the planets can slowly reshape their orbits, preserving clues to the system's assembly.
