Kepler-30 is a Sun-like G-type star (about 0.99 solar masses, 5,498 K, 0.95 solar radii), 914 light-years from Earth. Kepler-30 is a resonant three-planet system whose spot-crossing transits showed the planets aligned with the star's equator. Kepler-30 b is a 11.3-Earth-mass planet, with an orbital period of 29.3 days, at 0.180 AU from its star, discovered in 2012 via transit. Kepler-30 c is a 2.01-Jupiter-mass companion, with an orbital period of 60.3 days, at 0.300 AU from its star, discovered in 2012 via transit. Kepler-30 d is a 0.07-Jupiter-mass companion, with an orbital period of 143 days, at 0.500 AU from its star, discovered in 2012 via transit.
