Kepler-25 is a Sun-like F-type star (about 1.17 solar masses, 6,354 K, 1.32 solar radii), 243 light-years from Earth. Kepler-25 b is a 8.7-Earth-mass planet, with an orbital period of 6.2 days, discovered in 2011 via transit. Kepler-25 c is a 15.2-Earth-mass planet, with an orbital period of 12.7 days, discovered in 2011 via transit. Kepler-25 d is a 0.23-Jupiter-mass companion, with an orbital period of 122 days, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.13), discovered in 2014 via radial velocity. Mutual gravitational tugs between the planets can slowly reshape their orbits, preserving clues to the system's assembly.
