K2-157 is a Sun-like G-type star (about 0.89 solar masses, 5,334 K, 0.86 solar radii), 298 light-years from Earth. K2-157 b is a 1.1-Earth-mass planet, with an orbital period of 8.8 hours, at 0.010 AU from its star, and an equilibrium temperature near 2,432 K, discovered in 2018 via transit. K2-157 c is a 0.10-Jupiter-mass companion, with an orbital period of 25.9 days, at 0.165 AU from its star, and an equilibrium temperature near 587 K, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.20), discovered in 2025 via radial velocity.
