HIP 57274 is an orange K-type dwarf (about 0.73 solar masses, 4,640 K, 0.68 solar radii), 25.9 light-years from Earth. HIP 57274 b is a 6.4-Earth-mass planet, with an orbital period of 8.1 days, at 0.070 AU from its star, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.19), discovered in 2011 via radial velocity. HIP 57274 c is a 0.41-Jupiter-mass companion, with an orbital period of 32.0 days, at 0.178 AU from its star, discovered in 2011 via radial velocity. Mutual gravitational tugs between the planets can slowly reshape their orbits, preserving clues to the system's assembly.
