HD 96700 b is a 8.9-Earth-mass planet, with an orbital period of 8.1 days, at 0.078 AU from its star, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.14), discovered in 2021 via radial velocity. HD 96700 c is a 3.5-Earth-mass planet, with an orbital period of 19.9 days, at 0.141 AU from its star, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.29), discovered in 2021 via radial velocity. Mutual gravitational tugs between the planets can slowly reshape their orbits, preserving clues to the system's assembly.
