HD 39194 is a Sun-like G-type star (about 0.86 solar masses, 5,205 K), 26.4 light-years from Earth. HD 39194 b is a 4.6-Earth-mass planet, with an orbital period of 5.6 days, at 0.059 AU from its star, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.10), discovered in 2021 via radial velocity. HD 39194 c is a 7.5-Earth-mass planet, with an orbital period of 14.0 days, at 0.108 AU from its star, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.08), discovered in 2021 via radial velocity. Mutual gravitational tugs between the planets can slowly reshape their orbits, preserving clues to the system's assembly.
