HD 39091 is a Sun-like G-type star (about 1.07 solar masses, 5,998 K, 1.19 solar radii), 18.3 light-years from Earth. Pi Mensae (HD 39091) pairs a known eccentric giant with an inner transiting super-Earth, the first planet confirmed from TESS data. HD 39091 b is a 14.1-Jupiter-mass companion, with an orbital period of 5.72 years, at 3.280 AU from its star, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.64), discovered in 2001 via radial velocity. pi Men c is a planet with 2.0 Earth radii, with an orbital period of 6.3 days, discovered in 2018 via transit. pi Men d is a 13.4-Earth-mass planet, with an orbital period of 125 days, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.22), discovered in 2022 via radial velocity.
