HD 31527 b is a 10.5-Earth-mass planet, with an orbital period of 16.6 days, at 0.125 AU from its star, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.10), discovered in 2019 via radial velocity. HD 31527 c is a 14.2-Earth-mass planet, with an orbital period of 51.2 days, at 0.266 AU from its star, discovered in 2019 via radial velocity. The planet betrayed itself through the star's reflex motion — a technique that first revealed worlds around Sun-like stars in the 1990s and remains a workhorse of exoplanet discovery.
