HD 153557 is an orange K-type dwarf (about 0.79 solar masses, 4,837 K), 17.9 light-years from Earth. HD 153557 b is a 0.06-Jupiter-mass companion, with an orbital period of 7.3 days, at 0.068 AU from its star, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.07), discovered in 2022 via radial velocity. HD 153557 c is a 0.06-Jupiter-mass companion, with an orbital period of 15.3 days, at 0.111 AU from its star, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.51), discovered in 2022 via radial velocity. Mutual gravitational tugs between the planets can slowly reshape their orbits, preserving clues to the system's assembly.
