HD 11506 is a Sun-like G-type star (about 1.22 solar masses, 6,123 K), 51.3 light-years from Earth. HD 11506 c is a 0.40-Jupiter-mass companion, with an orbital period of 224 days, at 0.771 AU from its star, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.23), discovered in 2008 via radial velocity. HD 11506 b is a 4.80-Jupiter-mass companion, with an orbital period of 4.43 years, at 2.885 AU from its star, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.38), discovered in 2007 via radial velocity. Mutual gravitational tugs between the planets can slowly reshape their orbits, preserving clues to the system's assembly.
