WISPIT 2 is an orange K-type dwarf (about 1.08 solar masses, 4,400 K, 1.42 solar radii), 135 light-years from Earth. WISPIT 2 c is a 10.0-Jupiter-mass companion, at 14.0 AU from its star, and an equilibrium temperature near 2,050 K, discovered in 2026 via direct imaging. WISPIT 2 b is a 4.85-Jupiter-mass companion, at 57.0 AU from its star, discovered in 2025 via direct imaging. Direct imaging revealed these planets because they are young, massive, and widely separated from their star, appearing bright in infrared light against the glare.
