WASP-41 is a Sun-like G-type star (about 0.81 solar masses, 5,545 K, 0.83 solar radii), 163 light-years from Earth. WASP-41 c is a 3.18-Jupiter-mass companion, with an orbital period of 1.15 years, at 1.070 AU from its star, and an equilibrium temperature near 241 K, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.29), discovered in 2015 via radial velocity. WASP-41 b is a 0.85-Jupiter-mass companion, with an orbital period of 3.1 days, discovered in 2011 via transit. Mutual gravitational tugs between the planets can slowly reshape their orbits, preserving clues to the system's assembly.
