TOI-776 is an orange K-type dwarf (about 0.54 solar masses, 3,725 K, 0.55 solar radii), 27.2 light-years from Earth. TOI-776 b is a 5.0-Earth-mass planet, with an orbital period of 8.2 days, at 0.065 AU from its star, and an equilibrium temperature near 520 K, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.05), discovered in 2020 via transit. TOI-776 c is a 6.9-Earth-mass planet, with an orbital period of 15.7 days, at 0.100 AU from its star, and an equilibrium temperature near 420 K, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.09), discovered in 2020 via transit.
