TOI-4562 is a Sun-like F-type star (about 1.19 solar masses, 6,096 K, 1.15 solar radii), 340 light-years from Earth. TOI-4562 c is a 5.77-Jupiter-mass companion, with an orbital period of 10.9 years, at 5.219 AU from its star, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.12), discovered in 2024 via transit. TOI-4562 b is a confirmed exoplanet, with an orbital period of 225 days, discovered in 2023 via transit. The planet was found when it crossed the face of its star, producing periodic dips in brightness that reveal its size and orbital period to space-based photometry.
