TOI-1438 is an orange K-type dwarf (about 0.88 solar masses, 5,230 K, 0.82 solar radii), 111 light-years from Earth. TOI-1438 b is a 9.4-Earth-mass planet, with an orbital period of 5.1 days, at 0.055 AU from its star, and an equilibrium temperature near 971 K, discovered in 2025 via transit. TOI-1438 c is a 10.6-Earth-mass planet, with an orbital period of 9.4 days, at 0.083 AU from its star, and an equilibrium temperature near 794 K, discovered in 2025 via transit. Mutual gravitational tugs between the planets can slowly reshape their orbits, preserving clues to the system's assembly.
