TOI-1338 A is a Sun-like G-type star (about 1.09 solar masses, 5,723 K, 1.31 solar radii), 399 light-years from Earth. TOI-1338 is a circumbinary system found by TESS, with planets orbiting both stars of an eclipsing binary. TOI-1338 b is a 11.3-Earth-mass planet, with an orbital period of 95.4 days, discovered in 2020 via transit. TOI-1338 c is a 0.24-Jupiter-mass companion, with an orbital period of 216 days, discovered in 2023 via radial velocity. The planet was found when it crossed the face of its star, producing periodic dips in brightness that reveal its size and orbital period to space-based photometry. Mutual gravitational tugs between the planets can slowly reshape their orbits, preserving clues to the system's assembly.
