nu Oph is an orange K-type dwarf (about 2.61 solar masses, 4,887 K, 12.2 solar radii), 46.2 light-years from Earth. nu Oph b is a 21.5-Jupiter-mass companion, with an orbital period of 1.45 years, at 1.765 AU from its star, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.13), discovered in 2012 via radial velocity. nu Oph c is a 23.7-Jupiter-mass companion, with an orbital period of 8.71 years, at 5.829 AU from its star, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.18), discovered in 2012 via radial velocity.
