Kepler-377 is a Sun-like G-type star (about 1.04 solar masses, 5,949 K, 1.22 solar radii), 824 light-years from Earth. Kepler-377 b is a planet with 1.4 Earth radii, with an orbital period of 12.5 days, at 0.109 AU from its star, discovered in 2014 via transit. Kepler-377 c is a planet with 2.1 Earth radii, with an orbital period of 27.0 days, at 0.182 AU from its star, discovered in 2014 via transit. The planet was found when it crossed the face of its star, producing periodic dips in brightness that reveal its size and orbital period to space-based photometry.
