Kepler-264 is a Sun-like F-type star (about 1.43 solar masses, 6,158 K, 1.55 solar radii), 942 light-years from Earth. Kepler-264 b is a planet with 3.3 Earth radii, with an orbital period of 40.8 days, at 0.249 AU from its star, discovered in 2014 via transit. Kepler-264 c is a planet with 2.8 Earth radii, with an orbital period of 140 days, at 0.566 AU from its star, discovered in 2014 via transit. The planet was found when it crossed the face of its star, producing periodic dips in brightness that reveal its size and orbital period to space-based photometry.
