Kepler-1814 is an orange K-type dwarf (about 0.79 solar masses, 4,922 K, 0.82 solar radii), 726 light-years from Earth. Kepler-1814 c is a planet with 1.8 Earth radii, with an orbital period of 15.0 hours, at 0.013 AU from its star, and an equilibrium temperature near 1,711 K, discovered in 2023 via transit. Kepler-1814 b is a planet with 2.4 Earth radii, with an orbital period of 2.9 days, discovered in 2021 via transit. The planet was found when it crossed the face of its star, producing periodic dips in brightness that reveal its size and orbital period to space-based photometry.
