Kepler-1052 is a Sun-like G-type star (about 0.94 solar masses, 5,818 K, 0.85 solar radii), 943 light-years from Earth. Kepler-1052 c is a planet with 2.3 Earth radii, with an orbital period of 181 days, at 0.614 AU from its star, and an equilibrium temperature near 302 K, discovered in 2023 via transit. Kepler-1052 b is a planet with 2.9 Earth radii, with an orbital period of 34.9 days, discovered in 2016 via transit. The planet was found when it crossed the face of its star, producing periodic dips in brightness that reveal its size and orbital period to space-based photometry.
