K2-63 is a Sun-like F-type star (about 1.40 solar masses, 6,771 K, 1.63 solar radii), 518 light-years from Earth. K2-63 b is a planet with 3.2 Earth radii, with an orbital period of 20.3 days, at 0.163 AU from its star, discovered in 2016 via transit. K2-63 c is a planet with 3.9 Earth radii, with an orbital period of 25.5 days, at 0.189 AU from its star, discovered in 2016 via transit. The planet was found when it crossed the face of its star, producing periodic dips in brightness that reveal its size and orbital period to space-based photometry.
