K2-413 is an orange K-type dwarf (about 0.81 solar masses, 4,116 K, 0.70 solar radii), 285 light-years from Earth. K2-413 b is a planet with 0.8 Earth radii, with an orbital period of 19.4 hours, at 0.012 AU from its star, discovered in 2022 via transit. K2-413 c is a planet with 1.2 Earth radii, with an orbital period of 5.3 days, at 0.043 AU from its star, discovered in 2022 via transit. The planet was found when it crossed the face of its star, producing periodic dips in brightness that reveal its size and orbital period to space-based photometry.
