K2-247 is an orange K-type dwarf (about 0.74 solar masses, 4,667 K, 0.69 solar radii), 258 light-years from Earth. K2-247 b is a planet with 2.1 Earth radii, with an orbital period of 2.3 days, at 0.030 AU from its star, and an equilibrium temperature near 979 K, discovered in 2018 via transit. K2-247 c is a planet with 2.2 Earth radii, with an orbital period of 6.5 days, at 0.061 AU from its star, and an equilibrium temperature near 688 K, discovered in 2018 via transit.
