K2-24 is a Sun-like G-type star (about 1.09 solar masses, 5,726 K, 1.19 solar radii), 171 light-years from Earth. K2-24 b is a 0.06-Jupiter-mass companion, with an orbital period of 20.9 days, at 0.167 AU from its star, and an equilibrium temperature near 732 K, discovered in 2016 via transit. K2-24 c is a 0.05-Jupiter-mass companion, with an orbital period of 42.3 days, at 0.262 AU from its star, and an equilibrium temperature near 591 K, discovered in 2016 via transit. Mutual gravitational tugs between the planets can slowly reshape their orbits, preserving clues to the system's assembly.
