K2-117 is an orange K-type dwarf (about 0.54 solar masses, 3,778 K, 0.51 solar radii), 102 light-years from Earth. K2-117 b is a planet with 2.0 Earth radii, with an orbital period of 1.3 days, at 0.019 AU from its star, and an equilibrium temperature near 868 K, discovered in 2017 via transit. K2-117 c is a planet with 2.1 Earth radii, with an orbital period of 5.4 days, at 0.049 AU from its star, and an equilibrium temperature near 537 K, discovered in 2017 via transit.
