HIP 8541 is an orange K-type dwarf (about 2.01 solar masses, 4,672 K), 155 light-years from Earth. HD 11343 c is a 0.80-Jupiter-mass companion, with an orbital period of 229 days, at 0.923 AU from its star, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.17), discovered in 2022 via radial velocity. HIP 8541 b is a 7.71-Jupiter-mass companion, with an orbital period of 5.07 years, at 3.729 AU from its star, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.36), discovered in 2016 via radial velocity. Mutual gravitational tugs between the planets can slowly reshape their orbits, preserving clues to the system's assembly.
