HD 93083 is an orange K-type dwarf (about 0.84 solar masses, 5,034 K, 0.84 solar radii), 28.5 light-years from Earth. GJ 1137 c is a 5.1-Earth-mass planet, with an orbital period of 9.6 days, at 0.084 AU from its star, discovered in 2026 via radial velocity. HD 93083 b is a 0.45-Jupiter-mass companion, with an orbital period of 145 days, at 0.508 AU from its star, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.12), discovered in 2005 via radial velocity. Mutual gravitational tugs between the planets can slowly reshape their orbits, preserving clues to the system's assembly.
