HD 87816 is an orange K-type dwarf (about 2.41 solar masses, 4,989 K, 9.00 solar radii), 133 light-years from Earth. HD 87816 b is a 6.74-Jupiter-mass companion, with an orbital period of 1.33 years, at 1.618 AU from its star, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.78), discovered in 2025 via radial velocity. HD 87816 c is a 12.2-Jupiter-mass companion, with an orbital period of 20.8 years, at 10.1 AU from its star, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.19), discovered in 2025 via radial velocity.
