HD 33844 is an orange K-type dwarf (about 1.78 solar masses, 4,861 K, 5.29 solar radii), 106 light-years from Earth. HD 33844 b is a 2.01-Jupiter-mass companion, with an orbital period of 1.51 years, at 1.600 AU from its star, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.15), discovered in 2015 via radial velocity. HD 33844 c is a 1.75-Jupiter-mass companion, with an orbital period of 2.51 years, at 2.240 AU from its star, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.13), discovered in 2015 via radial velocity.
