HD 215497 is an orange K-type dwarf (about 0.67 solar masses, 5,110 K, 0.85 solar radii), 40.5 light-years from Earth. HD 215497 b is a 6.4-Earth-mass planet, with an orbital period of 3.9 days, at 0.050 AU from its star, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.16), discovered in 2009 via radial velocity. HD 215497 c is a 0.35-Jupiter-mass companion, with an orbital period of 1.55 years, at 1.310 AU from its star, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.47), discovered in 2009 via radial velocity.
