HD 202696 b is a 2.00-Jupiter-mass companion, with an orbital period of 1.42 years, at 1.566 AU from its star, discovered in 2019 via radial velocity. HD 202696 c is a 1.86-Jupiter-mass companion, with an orbital period of 2.59 years, at 2.342 AU from its star, discovered in 2019 via radial velocity. The planet betrayed itself through the star's reflex motion — a technique that first revealed worlds around Sun-like stars in the 1990s and remains a workhorse of exoplanet discovery.
