HD 177830 is an orange K-type dwarf (about 1.70 solar masses, 4,901 K, 3.26 solar radii), 62.8 light-years from Earth. HD 177830 c is a 0.15-Jupiter-mass companion, with an orbital period of 111 days, at 0.514 AU from its star, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.30), discovered in 2010 via radial velocity. HD 177830 b is a 1.69-Jupiter-mass companion, with an orbital period of 1.12 years, at 1.140 AU from its star, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.10), discovered in 1999 via radial velocity.
