HD 152843 is a Sun-like F-type star (about 1.15 solar masses, 6,310 K, 1.43 solar radii), 108 light-years from Earth. HD 152843 b is a 9.8-Earth-mass planet, with an orbital period of 11.6 days, at 0.105 AU from its star, discovered in 2021 via transit. HD 152843 c is a 9.7-Earth-mass planet, with an orbital period of 19.5 days, at 0.148 AU from its star, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.07), discovered in 2021 via transit. The planet was found when it crossed the face of its star, producing periodic dips in brightness that reveal its size and orbital period to space-based photometry.
