HD 140901 b is a 15.6-Earth-mass planet, with an orbital period of 9.0 days, at 0.085 AU from its star, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.47), discovered in 2022 via radial velocity. HD 140901 c is a 1.80-Jupiter-mass companion, with an orbital period of 39.4 years, at 11.8 AU from its star, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.77), discovered in 2022 via radial velocity. Mutual gravitational tugs between the planets can slowly reshape their orbits, preserving clues to the system's assembly.
