HD 11964 is a Sun-like G-type star (about 0.91 solar masses, 5,303 K, 2.01 solar radii), 33.5 light-years from Earth. HD 11964 c is a 0.08-Jupiter-mass companion, with an orbital period of 37.9 days, at 0.229 AU from its star, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.30), discovered in 2008 via radial velocity. HD 11964 b is a 0.62-Jupiter-mass companion, with an orbital period of 5.33 years, at 3.160 AU from its star, discovered in 2005 via radial velocity. Mutual gravitational tugs between the planets can slowly reshape their orbits, preserving clues to the system's assembly.
