HD 114386 is an orange K-type dwarf (about 0.80 solar masses, 4,895 K), 27.9 light-years from Earth. HD 114386 c is a 0.37-Jupiter-mass companion, with an orbital period of 1.22 years, at 1.050 AU from its star, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.10), discovered in 2026 via radial velocity. HD 114386 b is a 1.14-Jupiter-mass companion, with an orbital period of 2.57 years, at 1.730 AU from its star, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.23), discovered in 2003 via radial velocity. Mutual gravitational tugs between the planets can slowly reshape their orbits, preserving clues to the system's assembly.
