HATS-59 is a Sun-like G-type star (about 1.04 solar masses, 5,670 K, 1.04 solar radii), 643 light-years from Earth. HATS-59 b is a 0.81-Jupiter-mass companion, with an orbital period of 5.4 days, at 0.061 AU from its star, and an equilibrium temperature near 1,128 K, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.13), discovered in 2018 via transit. HATS-59 c is a 12.7-Jupiter-mass companion, with an orbital period of 3.89 years, at 2.504 AU from its star, and an equilibrium temperature near 176 K, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.08), discovered in 2018 via radial velocity.
