BD-11 4672 is an orange K-type dwarf (about 0.65 solar masses, 4,550 K, 0.64 solar radii), 27.2 light-years from Earth. BD-11 4672 c is a 15.4-Earth-mass planet, with an orbital period of 74.2 days, at 0.300 AU from its star, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.40), discovered in 2020 via radial velocity. BD-11 4672 b is a 0.65-Jupiter-mass companion, with an orbital period of 4.47 years, at 2.360 AU from its star, discovered in 2014 via radial velocity. Mutual gravitational tugs between the planets can slowly reshape their orbits, preserving clues to the system's assembly.
