75 Cet is a Sun-like G-type star (about 1.92 solar masses, 4,809 K, 10.4 solar radii), 83.0 light-years from Earth. 75 Cet b is a 2.48-Jupiter-mass companion, with an orbital period of 1.91 years, at 1.912 AU from its star, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.09), discovered in 2012 via radial velocity. 75 Cet c is a 0.91-Jupiter-mass companion, with an orbital period of 5.62 years, at 3.929 AU from its star, discovered in 2023 via radial velocity. Mutual gravitational tugs between the planets can slowly reshape their orbits, preserving clues to the system's assembly.
