7 CMa is an orange K-type dwarf (about 1.34 solar masses, 4,826 K, 4.87 solar radii), 19.8 light-years from Earth. 7 CMa b is a 1.85-Jupiter-mass companion, with an orbital period of 2.01 years, at 1.758 AU from its star, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.06), discovered in 2011 via radial velocity. 7 CMa c is a 0.87-Jupiter-mass companion, with an orbital period of 2.73 years, at 2.153 AU from its star, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.08), discovered in 2019 via radial velocity.
